Checks and References

Following a successful interview the candidate will then be subjected to the following checks:

  • Licences and qualifications – where licences and qualifications are required, these will be checked, photocopied and subsequently kept on file. CRC will ensure that all licences are reviewed on a quarterly basis.

  • Declaration of criminal conviction – Applicants are required to make a declaration under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act. If a declaration were made, then we would inform the client of the offence and make a decision on whether to progress with the application. It is worth noting that copies of all documents are maintained on file at the local office.

  • Legality of employment status – We ensure that all temporary employees satisfy legal requirements concerning their employment status. This is done by inspection of appropriate documentation (i.e. work permit, working visa, passport, WRS card and a current NI number).
